The Program Director (PD) is the designated coordinator for service recipients living in assigned supported living service sites and assigned service recipients receiving services in other living arrangements in the community. The PD is responsible for the overall operation of assigned supported living service sites and other services. He or she is the primary person responsible for planning and developing and/or supervising each service so that programming, policies and procedures are implemented according to county, state and federal rules and regulations. The Program Director also has corporate responsibilities as part of our Leadership Team.

Eligible applicants must have a four-year degree in a field related to human services, and equivalent to two full-time years of work experience with persons with intellectual disabilities and mental illness or related condition including a minimum of one year of supervisory experience in the field;

or a two-year degree in a field related to human services and equivalent to three full-time years of work experience with persons with intellectual disabilities and mental illness or related condition including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the field;

or a diploma in a field related to human services and equivalent to three full-time years of work experience with persons with intellectual disabilities and mental illness or related condition including a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in the field;

or a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and equivalent to four years of full-time work experience providing direct care to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff member who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3), including a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in the field.
